Description

Cleaning of dosimeter lids is required to prepare them for re-use. This is an operational requirement for the dosimetry service offered by National Dosimetry Services (NDS), Health Canada to its clients throughout Canada.

Cleaning of dosimeter lids must be performed using the methodology tested and approved by NDS. This methodology and additional requirements are described in the Requirements section of SOW.

On average 15,000 to 35,000 dosimeter lids are required to be cleaned on a semi-monthly (every two weeks) basis.

The pickup of dosimeter lids required to be cleaned and delivery of cleaned dosimeter lids back at NDS site (775 Brookfield Road, Ottawa) is to be done on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month.
