About FCC:
FCC is Canada’s leading agriculture and food lender, with a healthy loan portfolio of more than $44 billion. Our employees are dedicated to the future of Canadian agriculture and food. We provide flexible, competitively priced financing, management software, information and knowledge specifically designed for the agriculture and food industry. As a self-sustaining Crown corporation, we provide an appropriate return to our shareholder, and reinvest our profits back into the industry and communities we serve. For more information, visit fcc.ca.
RFP Scope:
FCC is looking to go through a lending transformation journey to replace our current loan origination system (LOS). It is being leveraged by employees serving small business and large corporate/commercial clients throughout Canada in need of financing solutions. In order to provide better client and employee experience, FCC is seeking an end-to-end digital solution for our LOS. The ideal LOS is an industry leading solution that will be intuitive for users, reduce manual data entry, enable a streamlined process reducing risk and providing greater efficiency while reducing overall cycle times in the origination process.
The lending transformation journey will involve a sandbox Proof of Concept (POC). This is to ensure the Proponent’s LOS is able to meet the requirements and needs of FCC’s lending guidelines and policies before proceeding with the overall transformation.
FCC’s current Risk assessment and spreading provider is Moody’s CreditLens solution. Through this RFP, FCC’s first priority it to replace our existing LOS. Proponents should detail how their LOS could integrate with our existing Moody’s CreditLens solution. Secondly, FCC is asking Proponents to detail their risk rating/spreading and auto spreading capabilities. FCC reserves the right to assess and potentially award Risk assessment and spreading to the successful Proponent(s) after the priority LOS sandbox phase.
FCC reserves the right to award the RFP scope of services to one or multiple Proponents.
