    Description

    TWO PHASE SELECTION PROCESS

    This is the first phase (Phase 1) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all bidders; second phase (Phase 2) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Upon award of contract in Phase Two the pre-qualification list will be terminated, no additional contracts will be awarded. 

    In general, work consists of timber float repairs, diving inspection and diving mooring repairs. Timber float repairs may consist of, but is not limited to, the replacement of typical float components such as decking, bullrail, rub boards (fascia), joists, flanges and crossties (submerged timbers) and pontoons. Diving inspection work may consist of, but is not limited to, inspecting the timber seaplane float mooring system, and the underwater inspection of submerged float timbers, pontoons, and wharf/float piles. Mooring repairs may include, but is not limited to, mooring line replacements, mooring line protection (firehose installation), shackle replacements, anchor relocation/replacement, and mooring line tensioning.
