    ***Amendment 001 raised to answer questions from bidders.***

     1. Summary

    The Environmental Protection Branch of Environment and Climate Change Canada is seeking to improve its data and understanding of the inventory of MERV throughout Canada. This sub-sector of off-road equipment covers machines such as recreational marine engines (outboard) and vessels (powered by an inboard or sterndrive), personal watercraft, snowmobiles, All Terrain Vehicles, Utility Vehicles, and others. All of the power sources that are used to power these machines use gasoline or electricity (i.e. Battery). 

    The project is to conduct surveys throughout Canada (In French and English where required) to collect information on the inventory and usage of MERV equipment. Two separate surveys will be designed to target the following groups that may use such machines:

    · households,

    · businesses and organizations

    The Contract is from date of Contract award to March 31, 2024 inclusive and will need to be delivered 351 Saint-Joseph Blvd., Gatineau, QC K1A 0H3. Additionnal attachments will be posted on GETS.

    The winning bider will be selected based on the Highest Combined Rating of Technical Merit and Price whithin the budget.

    2. Security

    There are no security requirements associated with this solicitation.

     

    3. Integrity Provisions

    Bidders must provide a list of names, or other related information as needed, pursuant to section 01 Integrity Provisions of Standard Instructions 2003 (2022-03-29).

     

    4. Service Requirements

     For services requirements, bidders in receipt of a pension or a lump sum payment must provide the required information as detailed in article 4 of Part 2 of the bid solicitation.”

     

    5. Social Procurement

    7. Official Languages

     Environment and Climate Change Canada provides procurement services in both official languages. Bidders may submit a bid in the official language of their choice.
