This requirement is for: Several institutions of the Correctional Service of Canada in Atlantic Region.

Nature of Requirements:
The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement for excavation services, snow removal and clearance services on an as and when required basis.
Objectives: The Contractor must provide excavation services, snow removal and clearance services on an as and when required basis for one or more of the following CSC locations :
Site 1 - Atlantic Institution, Renous, NB
Site 2 - Dorchester Penitentiary, Dorchester, NB
Site 3 - Springhill Institution, Springhill, NS
Site 4 - Nova Institution for Women, Truro, NS
The tasks the Contractor must perform include, but are not limited to, hauling of snow to designated snow dumps located on the institutional reserve, pushing of snow banks and snow dumps to allow storage space for future storms. The tasks also include exposing and subsequent backfilling underground services for emergency or maintenance repairs, or both, to infrastructure as well as other grounds work.
Deliverables: The Contractor must provide all labour, including licensed heavy equipment operators, tools, supplies and equipment, including heavy equipment, to perform the work. The heavy equipment the Contractor must provide includes, but is not limited to, an excavator, a bulldozer, a loader, a backhoe, a tandem truck, a compactor and if requested, other specialized equipment.
The Contractor is responsible for transporting all labour, tools, supplies and equipment, including heavy equipment, to and from the work site.
The Contractor must be located within 50km from either sites and be able to deliver services in English.
Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none.

Duration of Standing Offer and Time Frame for Delivery :
Period of the Standing Offer: The Work is to be performed during the period of April 1st, 2023 to March 31st, 2024 with the option to renew for four (4) additional one-year periods.
