AMEND NO. 2 - Formal Questions and Answers

Q1 - The Goodyear tire you are requesting information on is it
10 ply? The only one found is part number 06-01070. Please
advise if this is the correct part number?
A1 - P/N 5000444 is for wheel assy (rim only) and is not for a
tire. It is mandatory that  P/N 5000444 be supplied as per the
RFP document.

Q2 - P/N 5000444 is replaced by 5000444-3 - Minimum order is qty
5 - 
A2 - DND is at end of fiscal year, DND want to buy New Surplus
condition 5000444.  The 5000444-3 wheel assy is deemed beyond
budgeted funding.

Q3 - P/N is not recognized in our system - could be because:
a)	Part number is incorrect - ensure p/n is correct;
b)	Has never sourced or sold this part before and requires
pricing from Mfg;
c)	This part number is no longer valid
A3 - Wheels part number 5000444 is no longer available from the
OEM, but some suppliers might have P/N 5000444 available in new
surplus condition

Q4 - The OEM  mentioned the 500044 is no longer available and
the replacement is 5000444-3 - why is DND not accepting the
5000444-3 - when the only difference is the steel disk drive
ring instead of the aluminum disk drive ring?
