			 Request for Regional Individual Standing Offer
			    Department of National Defence (DND)
			Canadian Forces Base Suffield (CFB) -Ralston, AB

A Regional Individual Standing Offer for the supply and delivery
of fresh prepared box lunches and fresh prepared individual
sandwiches, as required, to the Department of National Defence
(DND), Canadian Forces Base (CFB), Suffield, located in Ralston,
Alberta.  The various delivery locations, referred to herein as
Areas of Responsibility, are all located within the Base, and
are identified at Annex "A", Requirement, in the solicitation
document.

The Standing Offer is for a period of one year from date of
issuance, with an option to extend for an additional, one (1)
year period. 

There is a security requirement associated with this requirement.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT). 

This requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods
and/or services....

An edible sample of  boxed meals must be provided to CFB
Suffield to the following address, on the same day as bid

The samples the offeror provides must be examples of boxed meal
menus found in Annex "C".  Please refer to the "Boxed Meal
Menus" tab, in the attached Excel Spreadsheets, for selection
choice.  

These edible samples must be provided and delivered on the same
day of bid closing as this RFSO.

Potential offerors must provide a minimum of three (3) sample
box meals consisting of one (1) 	breakfast; one (1) Lunch; and
one (1) vegetarian meal.  Menus must be in accordance with the
requirements as specified in the solicitation document and
attachments. The samples provided for evaluation must be
representative of the meals to be provided the entire period of
the standing offer (SO).

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
