    The Department of Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada’s (INAC) Indigenous Art Centre has a requirement to have a printer print and deliver a hardcover bilingual Art book which will showcase INAC’s Indigenous Art Collection. This publication will emphasize the integral role Indigenous artists have played in the development of the Collection, their role as experts, accompanied by the unique record of contemporary Indigenous visual culture represented by the Collection.
    
    The first print run of 5000 books must be delivered by March 27, 2018.
    
    The Contract will be in effect from the date of award of Contract until May 31, 2021 inclusive to allow for a 2nd print run during that timeframe.
    
    There are no security requirements associated with this requirement. 
    The requirement is subject only to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA)
    The requirement is limited to Canadian goods and/or services.
    This procurement is subject to the Comprehensive Land Claims Agreements. 
    This bid solicitation allows bidders to use the epost Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation for bid submission.  Bidders must refer to Part 2 of the bid solicitation entitled Instructions to bidders for further information.
    
    Basis of Selection -Mandatory technical criteria  
    
    1. A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a Contract.
    
    Mandatory requirement
    The Bidder must demonstrate that it has been contractually bound to an external client (outside of the Bidder's own company) or to external clients* for two (2) separate contracts to provide printing and production to final format of a Hardcover full colour “Prestige quality” printed Art book which included the printing of many colour photographs, art works and /or illustrations along with delivery to the destination address or addresses specified by the Client. The quantity of books printed per print run for each of these contracts must have been at least 5,000.
