    TITLE:
    Legal Survey - NT & Nunavut Mining District  
    REQUIREMENT:
    Natural Resources Canada - Surveyor General Branch (North) is
    responsible for the management of the legal surveys of the
    administrative boundaries of the Northwest Territories and
    Nunavut mining districts. This requirement is for the legal
    survey and demarcation of approximately 472 kilometres of
    artificial boundaries separating these two mining districts. The
    scope of work includes the preparation of Survey Field Notes in
    plan form, digital files of the Field Notes, and associated
    reports. The survey requires the on-site supervision of a
    licensed experienced Canada Lands Surveyor.
    This procurement is subject to the following Comprehensive Land
    Claim Agreements (CLCA):  Nunavut Land Claim.
    PERIOD OF PROPOSED CONTRACT:
    Completion date of the contract is January 16, 2015. 
    MANDATORY CRITERIA: 
    1.  Propose a minimum of one (1) Canada Lands Surveyor (CLS),
    who is a licensed member of the ACLS, to be on site and
    in-charge of the entire project.
    2.  The bidder must be a valid permit holder pursuant to the
    Canada Lands Surveyors Regulations. 
    3.  Documentary proof that the Inuit with the necessary
    qualifications and experience were given first consideration in
    providing technical and support services associated with the
    work.  
    4. The bidder must submit a report where he demonstrates his
    ability for survival, extraction from the field or any other
    situation that is hazardous to his safety or that of his staff.
    SELECTION METHOD:
    The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price per
    kilometres will be recommended for award of the contract. 
    OTHER: 
    This requirement is limited to Canadian goods and/or services.
     
    The responsibility to obtain all required information related to
    this project remains with the Contractor.
