1. TITLE

BUS REPAIRS - Edmonton, Alberta

2. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS

There is no security requirement applicable to the Standing Offer.

3. REQUIREMENT

A Regional Individual Standing Offer (RISO) for the supply of all labour, materials, parts, tools and supervision necessary to provide repairs, maintenance and modifications to various types of buses on an "as required" basis. 

The department of National Defence (DND), Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Edmonton, 1 Service Battalion Maintenance Company (1 Svc Bn Maint Coy) is responsible for the maintenance and repair of a fleet of various makes and models of buses.  These buses are used by all units within CFB Edmonton to transport troops to and from various exercises throughout the region, as well as transportation of troops to the airport, the ranges and other locations.  Because some of the fleet is aging, the repairs are becoming more frequent and 1 Svc Bn Maint Coy is unable to keep up to the demand. Maint Coy has a completely staffed and equipped heavy equipment repair shop, any repairs that would be needed are specialized and beyond this capability.

4. PERIOD OF THE STANDING OFFER

The estimated period of the Standing Offer is three (3) years from start date.

5. EVALUATION CRITERIA

MINIMUM MANDATORY PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATIONS are included in Annex "F".
