    Purpose:

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to request that interested companies provide responses to the questions posed herein. The questions posed are regarding the Canadian Coast Guard’s (CCG) requirement for 2 units of commercially available offloading pumps. These offloading pump will be used for pumping and transferring large quantities of hydrocarbons of varying properties from large crude oil tankers and oil containment areas of sweep systems during environmental response operations.

    Background Information:

The Environmental Response Equipment Modernization (ERE) Project for the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) forms part of the Oceans Protection Plan announced in November 2016. Under the ERE, CCG is renewing its suite of environmental response (ER) equipment, ensuring a robust and strategic national response capability. The ERE is modernizing ER equipment with new technology for strategic ER locations across Canada.
