PROJECT IDENTIFICATION: KC01 Complex-UpgradeSwitchgear, 1 Haanel Drive, Ottawa, ON

Project description:
Decommission and replacement of 13.2kV switchgear and 44kV relaying located on the existing 13.2kV switchgear of Building 17.  Install a new 13.2kV Automatic Transferring System and coordinate with Hydro Ottawa for the installation of Hydro’s remote terminal unit to provide remote status.

Work is to be completed within forty-two (42) weeks after contract award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $1,000,001.00 and $5,000,000.00.

MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:  
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement.  At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS).  Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: 
There will be a site visit on May 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.  Interested bidders are to meet atthe security guard house, 1 Haanel Drive, Ottawa, ON.

Safety Attire - It is mandatory that everyone attending the visit have the proper safety footwear (CSA approved green patch) and hard hat.  Contractor personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safetyattire will be denied access to the site.
