PROJECT IDENTIFICATION: Project number R.046793.002, Hull
Causeway Deck Replacement, Eddy/Booth Street, Gatineau Quebec.  

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Bridge works including the removal, repair
or replacement of reinforced concrete decking, barrier walls,
sidewalks, railings, steel structure painting, repairs to
substructure, ballast walls, abutments, bearing seats, piers,
replacement of bearings assemblies, and installation of shear
keys and related works.

Work is to be completed within forty (40) weeks after contract
award. The estimated cost for this opportunity above
$5,000,001.00 . 

MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:   
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At
bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated
Organization Screening (DOS). Failure to comply with this
requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further
consideration will be given to the Bid. 

OPTIONALSITE VISIT:  
There will be a site visit on December 13, 2012 at 10:00 am.
Interested bidders are to meet at the Hull Causeway, Booth/Eddy
Street, Gatineau Quebec. [In front of Domtar's secuirity booth]

It is mandatory that all persons attending the site visit have
the proper safety attire. Saftey footwear, hard hats, vests and
glasses are required. Bidders personnel/individuals who do not
have the proper safety attire will be denied access to the site.
