PROJECT IDENTIFICATION:  R.064044.002 - Confederation Heights
Chiller # 3 Replacement, 501 Heron Road, Ottawa, Ontario. 

Project description:    The purpose of this project is to
replace Chiller #3 at the Confederation Heights, Central Heating
and Cooling Plant, 501 Heron Road, Ottawa. Chiller # 3 continues
to operate, however, given the age of the equipment, it is under
serious risk of failure, therefore the existing unit must be
replaced.

Work is to be completed within thirty-five (35) weeks after
contract award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is
within the following category: $1,000,001 and $5,000,000.

MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:  
 
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement.  At
bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Facility Security
Clearance at level of SECRET.  Failure to comply with this
requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further
consideration will be given to the Bid. 

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:  

There will be a site visit on July 16, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.. 
Interested bidders shall meet at the Confederation Heights,
Cental Heating and Cooling Plant (CHCP), 501 Heron Road, Ottawa.

Safety Attire - It is mandatory that all persons attending the
site visit have the proper safety footwear (CSA approved green
patch). Hard hats and safety glasses are also required. 
Contractor personnel/individuals who do not have the proper
safety attire may be denied access to the site.
