Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: The bidder must supply Canadian goods and/or services Attachment: None Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number 51019-135016/A dated August 6, 2013 with a closing of September 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. ADT. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation. RECORDS STORAGE Veterans Affairs Canada requires records storage and reference services for non-archival information resources for Veterans Affairs Canada offices located across Canada. The files are allocated based on geographical area and they must stay that way for operational reasons. The work in each area includes but is not limited to: accession, storage, retrieval, withdrawal, refile, interfile, transportation, and destruction. The offices are located in: Dartmouth, NS; Montreal, QC; Ottawa, ON; Toronto, ON, Winnipeg, MB; and Vancouver, BC. It is intended to award the Contract to a single service provider or joint venture provided there is one(1) Inventory Management Control System (IMCS) to meet the following requirement: the Contractor's IMCS will be a streamlined, enterprise-wide and nationally integrated system that will provide the capability for a single view of VAC's consolidated inventory holdings using one datastore. Users will be able to search for a record without the need to know where it is physically stored. The period of the Contract will be seven (7) years with option to extend the term of the Contract by up to three (3) additional one year period(s). There is a security requirement associated with the requirement. For additional information, consult Part 4 - Evaluation Procedures and Basis of Selection, and Part 6 - Resulting Contract Clauses of the Request for Proposal document. This procurement is limited to Canadian services. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
