Marine Atlantic requires a Standing Offer for the provision of Electric Motor Service Technicians, labour, parts and equipment necessary to test, assess, and repair electric motors used on exhaust and air handling systems and various fluid handling pump systems and machinery onboard Marine Atlantic Inc. (MAI) vessels on an as and when required basis.

The Standing Offer is for a period of two years from date of award; with two extension periods.   The first extension period is for a period of two years; while the second extension period is for one year.

Electric motors that have failed will be taken out of service by MAI Technicians and shipped to the electric motor service facilities for repairs.
