    Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site has a
    requirement for the printing of 15,000 English and 2,000 French
    visitor guides which provides up-to-date operational and
    seasonal park information as well as thematic content.
    
    There are separate versions for both English and French
    languages.
    
    The guide is to be printed in accordance with the production
    specifications:
    
    Size:	Trim 7.75" x 10.75" (page spread 15.5" x 10.75")
    Paper Stock:  Certified Rolland Enviro 100 (no substitutes
    accepted)
    Cover:  70 lb. Test, Interior 50lb test, Centre Spread 70lb text.
    Binding:  Saddle stitch.  Note:  Centre spread to pull out -
    binding should feature 2 staples holding all pages but centre
    spread, 3rd staple to hold all pages including center spread.
    Special:  A perforation is to be added near the binding edge of
    page 31 (page 32 on reverse side) to allow the page to tear out.
    Printing Methods:  FSC Certified Offset Printing
    Colour:  Four Colour Process, full bleed, throughout publication
    Materials Supplied:   Parks Canada will supply final digital
    artwork in the form of press-quality Adobe Acrobat PDF files
    with specification provided from the Contractor.
    Quality Level:  Library (Professional Grade Status)
    Line Screen:  150 lines per inch minimum
    Proofing:  Printer required to provide: (1) digital colour
    proofs of all pages of English version only; (2) an assembled
    digital dylux proof, trimmed and stitched of both English and
    French versions.  These proofs are to be supplied to the project
    manager for final approval prior to printing.
    Inks:  Parks Canada regulations require that all printing inks
    be mixed with vegetable oil.
    
    Bidders must have FSC certification (Forest Stewardship Council)
    and must include their COC (chain of command) number with their
    proposal.
    
    All detailed requirements are outlined in the solicitation
    documents.
