Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) has a
requirement on behalf of the Department of National Defence
(DND) for furnishing of all labour, material, tools, equipment
and transportation required for welding emergency and operating
repairs to boilers, plant equipment and related distribution
systems at CFB Halifax, NS as specified.

Work under this Standing Offer comprises but not limited to the
following:

Perform various types of repairs to boilers and plant systems:

-	high and low pressure boilers and distribution systems;
-	high temperature hot water systems and boilers;
-	high and low pressure compressed air plants and systems;

Systems such as:

-	pressure vessels of various types and sizes; and
-	all associated mechanical support systems for the boilers and
plant systems.
-	Perform "on site" repairs as specified in Section 23 05 01
General Mechanical Requirements.

Areas covered under this Standing Offer include but not limited
to the following locations:

	- 	Stadacona - Halifax, NS;
	-	Windsor Park - Halifax, NS;
	-	HMC Dockyard - Halifax, NS;
	-	Dockyard Annex (NAD) - Dartmouth, NS;
	-	12 Wing Shearwater - Eastern Passage, NS; et
	-	CFAD Bedford - Bedford, NS.

There will be only one (1) Standing Offer issued for this
requirement.

This Standing Offer Agreement is for a period of one year with
two additional one-year options.

There is a security requirement associated with this
requirement.  For additional information, consult Part 6 -
Security Requirements, and Part 7A - Standing Offer. For more

security clauses, offerors should refer to the Canadian

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade
Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the
North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement
on Internal Trade (AIT).
