    DRYDOCKING CCGS G Peddle SC
    
    Public Services and Procurement Canada has a requirement on behalf of Canadian Coast Guard to carry out docking repairs to the CCGS G Peddle SC in accordance with the associated technical specification detailed in the Statement of Work and applicable Annexes and Appendices. 
    
    The work period dates are:
    
    Commencement: 08 January 2018
    Completion: 19 February 2018
    
    Optional Viewing:
    
    The vessel will be available for viewing beginning at 13:00 local on 05 December 2017 at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography, in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
    
    Optional Bidders Conference:
    
    A Bidders Conference will be held onboard the vessel beginning at 14:00 local, on 05 December 2017 at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography, in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
    
    Potential bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority prior to the viewing and bidders conferences to confirm attendance.
    
    There is no security requirement applicable to this Contract.
    
    The sourcing strategy relating to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in the area of origin (Eastern Canada) of the vessel in accordance with the Shipbuilding and Repair Procurement Policy.
    
    This requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
    
    The requirement is exempt from the provisions of the Comprehensive Economic Trade Agreement (CETA), as per Annex 15A, Section e, Note 1c and is exempt from the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) - exemption reference: Chapter 10, Annex 1001.2b, General Notes, Schedule of Canada - paragraph 1(a).  It is also exempt from the World Trade Organization - Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP) - exemption reference: Annex 4, Note 4.
