CCGS EARL GREY REFIT

To provide labour, parts, material, and equipment to carry out
the alongside refit on and  for CCGS EARL GREY in accordance
with specification No. 12-E-006-011-2 VERSION 1 while the vessel
is alongside at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography,
Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. For drawings, test sheets, annexes and
appendices, bidders are requested to contact the Contracting
Authority identified in the bid solicitation.

The requirement is exempt from the provisions of the World Trade
Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP),
Annex 4 and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA),
Chapter Ten Annex 1001.2b Paragraph 1, however, it is subject to
the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) and will be limited to
suppliers in Eastern Canada in accordance with Shipbuilding,
Refit, Repair and Modernization Policy (1996-12-19). 

A bidders' conference will be held at 1:00 PM, on 5 September
2012, onboard the vessel at the Bedford Institute of
Oceanography in Dartmouth, N.S.  The vessel will be available
for viewing from 8:00 to 11:00 on 5 September 2012 at the
Bedford Institute of Oceanography in Dartmouth, N.S.

The Contractor must have an ISO 9000 or equivalent Quality
Program in place for this type of work.

The Government of Canada reserves the right to negotiate with
suppliers on any procurement.

procurement.
