    IMPORTANT:

    REQUIREMENT:
    Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) on behalf of Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) has a requirement for the supply and delivery of two (2)  Aquadopp Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (or equivalent).  DRDC currently has a Distributed Underwater Sensor Network (DUSN) where the nodes oscillate when deployed in the water column making the heading change and calculating the bearing to a contact difficult. DRDC is planning to mount the Aquadopp to the Distributed Underwater Sensor Network (DUSN) nodes to measure the observed water currents on the DUSN frames.
    
    PERIOD OF CONTRACT:
    All deliverables to be received on or before February 26, 2021.
    
    BASIS OF SELECTION:
    A bid must comply with all requirements of the bid solicitation to be declared responsive.  The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
    
    DETAILS:

    CANADIAN CONTENT:
    The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods.  If there are two or more bids with a valid Canadian Content Certification the evaluation process will be limited to the bids with the certification; otherwise, all bids will be evaluated.
    
    TRADE AGREEMENTS:
    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
