GSIN: K000E - Tailoring Services and K000ED - Clothing Alterations and Repairs

Maritime Forces Atlantic requires a service contract to allow for tailoring and alteration services for the military uniforms of their serving members.

This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number W0100-211248/A dated 2020-12-04 with a closing of 2020-12-22 at 2:00 AST.  A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation.

The solicitation is being re-issued because no responsive bids were received during the initial process.

Some Suppliers may be invited directly to bid on this solicitation

There is a security requirement associated with this solicitation:

1. Before award of a contract, the following conditions must be met:

(a) the Bidder must hold a valid organization security clearance as indicated in Part 6 - Resulting Contract Clauses;

(b) the Bidder's proposed individuals requiring access to classified or protected information, assets or sensitive work sites must meet the security requirements as indicated in Part 6 - Resulting Contract Clauses;

(c) the Bidder must provide the name of all individuals who will require access to classified or protected information, assets or sensitive work sites;

2. Bidders are reminded to obtain the required security clearance promptly. Any delay in the award of a contract to allow the successful Bidder to obtain the required clearance will be at the entire discretion of the Contracting Authority.

This service contract will be for a one (1) year Initial Period with two (2) 1-year Optional Periods

Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond.
