Request for Information for Public Works and Government Services Canada Bulk Fuel National Procurement Strategy.

Through a Request for Information (RFI), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is seeking feedback from suppliers on the way that the federal government buys bulk fuel. An online questionnaire is provided with the RFI, and the deadline for responses is 2:00 p.m. EST, January 16, 2017.

The purpose of the RFI is to assist PWGSC in determining the best approach to procure bulk fuel and to support the development of a National Procurement Strategy for bulk fuel.

NATURE OF REQUEST FOR INFORMATION
The RFI is not a bid solicitation and a Contract will not result from this activity.  

FOLLOW-UP ACTIVITY
Canada may, at its discretion, set up subsequent consultation mechanisms, including industry day, working group sessions, one-on-one meetings with each Respondent, and/or contact any respondent to follow up with additional questions, or for clarification of any aspect ofa response.  These activities form part of the process to finalize the Bulk Fuel National Procurement Strategy.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
