    Correctional Service Canada (CSC) has a requirement to expand
    the video surveillance coverage at four (4) multi-level security
    institutions in the Atlantic Region. The Statement of Technical
    Requirements (STR) sets out the technical requirements for the
    required work. The work shall be carried out at the following
    institutions:
    
    Atlantic Institution (Maximum Security);
    Dorchester Penitentiary (Medium Security);
    Nova Institution (Multi-Level Security);
    Springhill Institution  (Medium Security);
    
    The work includes the supply, installation, testing and
    provision of operational and technical training on the CCTV
    system as described in the Statement of Technical Requirements
    (STR). 
    
    Work will have to be accomplished with minimum disruption to the
    daily operation and security of the institution, and the work is
    requested to be completed within 30 weeks after contract award.
    
    Mandatory site visits will be held as follow:
    
    Tuesday July 30th 2013:
    Dorchester Penitentiary, Dorchester, New Brunswick @ 8:30am
    
    
    Wednesday, July 31st 2013:
    Atlantic Institution,  Renous, New Brunswick  @ 10:00am
    
    
    Thursday, August 1st 2013:
    Springhill Institution, Springhill, Nova Scotia @ 10:00am
    
    
    Friday, August 2nd 2013:
    Nova Institution, Truro, Nova Scotia @ 10:00am
    
    
    Bidders must attend all mandatory site visits in order to bid on
    this solicitation process.
    
    The bidder must have at least one attendee at each site visit
    (maximum 2 attendee's per bidder) and the onus is on the bidders
    to arrive at the site in a timely manner.  Bidders arriving late
    may not be permitted to attend the site visit.
    
    It is also a mandatory condition of this requirement that all
    attendees have a site clearance prior to each site visit.  To
    apply for the site clearance, the bidders shall complete a CPIC
    Clearance Request form (preferably in typed format) and submit
    the duly completed and signed form by each participant, by fax
    to Mike McLaughlin (819) 956-3622 or by e-mail to
    michael.mclaughlin@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca. 
    
    It is a mandatory condition that the CPIC Clearance Request be
    submitted for each site visit. It is requested that the CPIC
    Clearance Requests be received by this office no later than
    4:00pm on July 18th 2013.  Site Clearance Request Forms received
    after July 18th may not be accepted.  A site clearance obtained
    for work performed under similar requirements is not acceptable.

    Interested Bidders must meet at the Main gate 10mins before the
    start of the site visit.
    
    Note:
    After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the
    results of the bid solicitation.  Bidders should make the
    request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days of
    receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The
    debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
