SAND BAG FILLING MACHINE

The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement to
establish a National Individual Standing Offer (NISO) for the
supply of sand bag filling machines.  The NISO will be for a
period of two (2) years from the issuance of the Standing Offer.
 This NISO contains options to extend the Standing Offer by two
(2) additional periods of one (1) year each.

The following estimated usage forecast for the next four (4)
years is provided to assist Offerors in the preparation of their
offers.

Firm and option periods:

Estimate of 60 units total/year - Delivery to Montreal, Quebec
and Edmonton, Alberta.

This requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade
Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the
North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT) and the Bilateral Agreements.
