This Amendment 001 cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number W8486-137729/A dated 2013-08-01 with a closing of 2013-09-10 at 2:00pm. All Annexes remain the same. Repair and Overhaul - Heavy Logistics Vehicles Wheeled (HLVW) Transmissions The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for Repair and Overhaul (R&O) , modification, testing, calibration and reduction to spares of Heavy Logistics Vehicles Wheeled (HLVW) Transmissions. This equipment is positioned throughout Canada. Work shall be conducted and completed either in Canada at CF locations or at Contractor's plant. The attached statement of work (SOW) and its appendice defines the work effort required to perform R&O functions. The R&O functions include, but not limited to handling, repairing, overhauling, modifications and upgrades. The work under this requirement will be carried out for a period of three (3) years from the effective date of the contract with an option to extend the contract for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year. Debriefings After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days of receipt of notification that their bid was unsuccessful. The debriefing may be provided in writing, by telephone or in person Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
