The Department of National Defence has a requirement to purchase two (2) Diesel Engine Driven forklift trucks and ancillary items, including familiarization instruction/training in accordance with Purchase Description for “Diesel Engine Driven, Dual Load Wheel, Sit Down Rider Type Forklift Trucks”, dated 2016-02-26, to be delivered to Montreal, QC and Oromocto, NB, to be delivered by July 2016.

The requirement also includes an option to purchase up to two (2) additional vehicle and ancillary items to be exercised within twelve (12) months from the effective date of the contract 

Trade Agreements 
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-Columbia Free Trade Agreement (CCFTA), the Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement (CPFTA), the Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement (CPFTA) and the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).

Debriefings

Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days from receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be provided in writing, by telephone or in person.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
