The Department of National Defence has a requirement for the
items detailed below. The  delivery is requested at: Canadian
Forces Supply Depots (CFSD) Montreal, Quebec  and (CFSD)
Edmonton, Alberta by October 1, 2014.

AMENDMENT 001

This amendment is raised to provide questions and answers to
potential bidders as follows:

Question: I have been informed of the following concerning Item
2 of the Solicitation.
Basically the HD is no longer available, model numbers have
changed.All the HFO314's now have the bigger bearings that make
it a heavy duty. If you know the BOM or Spec on the tag they
have already, then we can see what model it changed up to.If
not, do they know if they need Kevlar Disc's for facings?

Answer: DND uses model HFO-314/1 HD, KV F7391, spec # 2895G (oil
lube), Transfluid has confirmed that this specification number
has been replaced by spec # 2895M (grease lube).


All other terms and conditions remain the same.

Bidders proposing an Equivalent or a Substitute Product must
indicate the brand name and model and/or Part Number and the
NSCM/CAGE they are offering.

Financial Evaluation

Mandatory Financial Evaluation Criteria
The price of the bid must be in Canadian dollars, Delivered Duty
Paid at destination, Incoterms 2000, Canadian Custom Duties and
Excise Taxes included where applicable and  Applicable Taxes
extra. 

Bidders must quote a price for all destinations with the same
Nato Stock Number.

Debriefings

Offerors may request a debriefing on the results of the request
for standing offers process. Offerors should make the request to
the Standing Offer Authority within fifteen (15) working days of

process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in
person.
