Line1, Caterpillar Components

This Request for Standing Offer is being issued to satisfy the
requirement of the Department of National Defence, Canadian
Forces Base (CFB) Trenton, Ontario, Canada for the supply of
diesel engine and generator components and other equipment
manufactured by Caterpillar. It is intended to result in the
issue of a Regional Individual Standing Offer with a term of 2
years from 01 September 2013 to 31 August 2015.  All items
requested as a result of the RFSO will be destined for final
delivery to CFS Alert, Nunavut Territory.

This procurement is subject to the Nunavut Land Claims
Agreement. 

This procurement is set aside under the federal government's
Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business.

This procurement is set aside from the international trade
agreements under the provision each has for set-asides for small
and minority businesses.

Further to Article 1802 of the Agreement on Internal Trade
(AIT), AIT does not apply to this procurement.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
