The Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), requires a spare x ray film processor in order to support its fleet of nondestructive testing (NDT) radiographic film processors. After a long period of service, the film processors issued to the field are beginning to fail due to their individual components becoming worn out. A spare film processor would allow an acceptable level of operational support to be maintained should an in service processor be deemed beyond economic repair.
