Environment and Climate Change Canada has a requirement to replace a portion of the current upper air-observing stations and increase the number of observations with an Automatic Radiosonde Launching System (ARLS).  The ARLS consists of hardware and software components whose function is to prepare a radiosonde for flight, inflate and launch a weather balloon with the radiosonde, receive and process the radiosonde telemetry into meteorological data and transmit Upper Air products to ECCC server locations. The ARLS components interface with each other to provide a seamless radiosonde observation, not requiring operator intervention. The ARLS is remotely configurable and controllable.

Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days from receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
