Trade Agreement: NONE Tendering Procedures: If 2+ bids offer Canadian goods/services other bids will not be considered Competitive Procurement Strategy: Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Water Tank Accident Repairs W0107-15M008/A Dunphy, Ken Telephone No. - (613) 449-5116 ( ) Fax No. - (613) 545-8067 ( ) Statement of Work This solicitation for the Department of National Defence, Garrison Petawawa, is for repairs to a Standard Military Pattern Heavy Logistics Vehicle Wheeled (10 ton Styr) 7000 litre mounted stainless steel water tank, its piping and wiring that resulted from a vehicle roll over. No repairs will be performed to the actual vehicle, except where required within the wiring or hydraulic connections. Mandatory Site Visit It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at 227 Montgomery Road, Building H112,Garrison Petawawa, Petawawa, Ontario on May 18, 2016. The site visit will begin at 10:00 EDT, in Building H112. Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than May 16, 2016 12:00 EDT to confirm attendance and provide the name(s)of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders will be required to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders should confirm in their bid that they have attended the site visit. Bidders who do not attend the mandatory site visit or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment and their bid will be declared non-responsive. Canadian Content This procurement is conditionally limited to Canadian services. Subject to the evaluation procedures contained in the bid solicitation, bidders acknowledge that only bids with a certification that the service offered is a Canadian service may be considered. Controlled Goods As the resulting contract will require the production of or access to controlled goods that are subject to the Defence Production Act, R.S. 1985, c. D-1, bidders are advised that within Canada only persons who are registered, exempt or excluded under the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) are lawfully entitled to examine, possess or transfer controlled goods. Period ofContract: The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to July 31, 2016 inclusive. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
