IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Ontario Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority. 

Suppliers are required to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

To use epost Connect to submit your bid, or to get more information on its use, please send an email to the Ontario Region Bid Receiving Unit’s generic address at TPSGC.orreceptiondessoumissions-orbidreceiving.PWGSC@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca.

Faxed and hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject bid solicitation.

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf The Department of National Defence (DND), 31 Canadian Brigade Group (31 CBG) and Regional Cadet Support Unit (RCSU) require catering services throughout South Western Ontario from Windsor to Niagara Falls on an as and when requested basis.

It is the intention of the Crown to issue one (1) Standing Offer for each Area listed in Annex “B” to satisfy this requirement. Should one (1) Offeror provide the lowest evaluated price for multiple Areas, PWGSC will issue one (1) Standing Offer for those Areas.

Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days from receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
