The COVID-19 pandemic continues to have an unprecedented impact on the health of Canadians. COVID-19 vaccines are a critical tool that reduce the risk of COVID-19 and protect broader public health.
As a responsible employer, the Government of Canada is committed to protecting the health and safety of its employees. On October 6, 2021, the Government of Canada announced its Policy on COVID-19 Vaccination for the Core Public Administration Including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

In alignment with this important measure, all supplier personnel (including subcontractor personnel) who access federal government workplaces will also be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This requirement will enter into effect on November 15, 2021.


In-Transit Meals - "Box Lunches" 

This request for a Regional Individual Standing Offer is for the supply and delivery of In-Transit Meals -«Box Lunches» for Department of National Defence, Food Services, at 5th Canadian Division Support Base Gagetown located in Oromocto, New Brunswick on an as and when requested basis for the period from May 1st 2022 to April 30st 2023 inclusive.

The Sandwich Processing Facility must be HACCP certified by the Federal Government, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.  Mandatory requirements are indicated at Annex "B".

Technical Offer 

Samples as detailed in Annex B, the Mandatory Requirements and Specifications, could be required to be sent to 5 CDSB Gagetown for technical evaluation.

The supplier MUST be compliant with the Requirement at Annex "A", the Mandatory Requirements and Specifications at Annex "B", the Box Lunch Menus at Annex "C" and the Conditions of the Request for Standing Offer.
