    IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
    
    Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic and limited staff available at the Moncton, NB bid receiving unit, bidders are encouraged to transmit their bids electronically using the epost Connect service or facsimile instead of any of the other methods of bid delivery that are available for this bid solicitation.

    The COVID-19 pandemic continues to have an unprecedented impact on the health of Canadians. COVID-19 vaccines are a critical tool that reduce the risk of COVID-19 and protect broader public health.
    As a responsible employer, the Government of Canada is committed to protecting the health and safety of its employees. On October 6, 2021, the Government of Canada announced its Policy on COVID-19 Vaccination for the Core Public Administration Including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
    
    In alignment with this important measure, all supplier personnel (including subcontractor personnel) who access federal government workplaces will also be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This requirement will enter into effect on November 15, 2021.
    
    This PWGSC provides procurement services to the public in both official languages of Canada.
    
    The requirement is subject to the provisions of CETA and has a preference for Canadian Goods.
    
    REQUIREMENT:
    
    Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), on behalf of the Department of National Defence has a requirement for a Regional Individual Standing Offer for the supply, delivery and offloading of Coke or Pepsi products ONLY, including to supply and deliver “MISCELLANEOUS SOFT DRINK PRODUCTS with DISPENSING MACHINES” to Kitchen H33 at 5 CDSB Gagetown, on an “as and when requested basis” for the period of the Standing Offer from 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2024..
    
    INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS:
    
    Suppliers must provide a price for all items at Annex B.  ALL ITEMS MUST BE AVAILABLE for initial set-up.
    
    Only one (1) Standing Offer will be awarded to lowest aggregate bid, total extended cost of all items, meeting ALL mandatory requirements.  The supplier MUST be compliant with Annex A and Annex B.
    
    EQUIPMENT:
    
    The supplier agrees to ensure that the consignee is supplied with an “Ice Combo Unit”, state of the art equipment dispensing machines for Post Mixed Pop «to a max of three (3  machines total» with a minimum of four (4) selection valves.  All costs for rental, installation & maintenance rest solely with the supplier.  The Consignee agrees to provide plumbing for water, sewer and electrical connections as specified by the distributor to a point no further than seven (7) feet at its cost.
    
    SERVICE CALLS:
    
    Mandatory Requirement: The successful bidder must have a technician always available to respond to service calls within forty eight (48) hours of a service requirement being placed, at no cost to DND. This service includes, but is not limited to, replacing or repairing any defects to or parts in the dispensing equipment.
