    This notice amendment is to to issue solicitation amendment 003 and upload final drawings.
    
    
    Requirement:
    To carry out the dry-docking refit of the Canadian Coast Guard Vessels CCGS Constable Carriere and CCGS Corporal Teather in accordance with the associated technical information as detailed in Annex A - Statements of Work No.’s 843.17 and 853.17.
    Vessel Transfer Costs for each vessel will apply to all bids for evaluation purposes.
    
    Optional Site Visit - Both Vessels:
    An optional site visit will be held at 10:00am on October 24, 2017 at the Canada Centre for Inland Waters, 867 Lakeshore Rd, Burlington, ON L7S 1A1. 
    
    Bidders’ Conference:
    A bidders’ conference chaired by the Contracting Authority will be held at 1:00pm on October 24, 2017 at the same location.
    
    Destination:
    The work shall be carried out at the Contractor’s facility.
    
    Work Period:
    Commence: December 20, 2017 or earlier. 
    Complete: 28 days for each vessel after arrival at contractor’s facilities.
    Note:  Both vessels must be completed concurrently or in immediate succession.
    
    Sourcing Strategy:
    The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in Eastern Canada Region, in accordance with the Shipbuilding, Refit, Repair and Modernization Policy (1996-12-19) subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT). This procurement is exempt from NAFTA [see Chapter 10, Annex 1001.2b, paragraph 1 (a)] and from the WTO-AGP (see Annex 4).
    One contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation.

    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
