NATURE OF REQUIREMENT

Note: Bid Close Date has been revised to December 8,2017.

The Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) has a requirement for the casting of steel shaft struts for the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) 47’ Motor life boats in accordance with the Statement of Work - Annex "A". The quantities required are 8 Port and 9 Starboard. Mold patterns will be supplied by CCG.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).  
Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement does not apply as delivery is not within a Land Claim Area.
The sourcing strategy to this procurement is that all interested suppliers may submit a bid.  Bidders to be considered compliant must meet all the Mandatory Requirements of the Request for Proposal.
The lowest priced compliant proposal will be recommended for award.
