    Nature of Requirements: 
    To provide spare parts of Fairbanks Morse 38D8-1/8 and Alco
    Model 251 engines to the government departments, agencies and
    Crown corporations of the Government of Canada for delivery
    across the country, excluding locations within the Settlement
    areas of the Comprehensive Land Claim Agreements (CLCA), on an
    as-and-when requested basis, from date of standing offer to two
    years from date of standing offer.
    
    The requirement contains two categories : category 1 for
    Original Equipment Manufactured spare parts for Fairbanks Morse
    38D8-1/8 and Alco Model 251 engines and category 2 for
    equivalent spare parts for Alco Model 251 engines.
    
    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade
    Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the
    North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement
    on Internal Trade (AIT).
    
    Mandatory Technical Criteria
    
    Category 1:
    
    (a) The Offeror of Category 1 must demonstrate that their
    Original Equipment Manufactured (OEM) spare parts for Fairbanks
    Morse 38D8-1/8 and Alco Model 251 engines are supplied by and/or
    manufactured by the Original Equipment Manufacturer.
    
    Category 2:
    
    (a) The Offeror of Category 2 must have completed one (1)
    project of supplying equivalent spare parts for Alco Model 251
    engines with a value exceeding $25,000.00.
    
    (b) The Offeror of Category 2 must have completed one (1)
    project of supplying equivalent spare parts for Alco Model 251
    engines to a Canadian Government Client.
    
    (c) The Offeror of Category 2 must provide for each project
    mentioned above, a brief description of each project, the dollar
    value and the client for whom the work was performed.
    
    (d) The Offeror of Category 2 must offer at least 90% of the
    items listed in the solicitation.

    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
    procurement.
    
    Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
