IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Québec Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority. 

Bidders are required to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject of the solicitation. This service allows bidders to submit bids electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

Faxed and hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject Request for Standing Offers.

Enclosed-space winch system

Request for Proposal (RFP) for Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) for the purchase an enclosed-space winch system. 

A pilot plant at the Saint-Hyacinthe Research and Development Centre (Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec) is being renovated.

Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada has to replace the pilot plants obsolete and aging equipment. The plant directly supports the food processing industry by providing facilities to support innovation.

The requirements for AAFC include: the supply, delivery and installation of the device at Saint-Hyacinthe Research and Development Center as well as training on closed Spaces and Fall Protection.

Delivery requested : As soon as possible.

The evaluation of the bidders will be based on the mandatory technical evaluation criteria and financial evaluation criteria specified within this RFP (see Annexes A-B-C). 

All enquiries and other communications regarding this RFP are to be directed only to the contracting authority, in writing, whose name is indicated in this RFP.

PWGSC provides procurement services to the public in both official languages.
