    Description of Project

Adaptation to the various stages of space flight places unique
stresses on astronauts. Upon entering space and following their
return to earth astronauts experience a variety of detrimental
effects such as poor coordination, disorientation, and motion
sickness. The majority suffer from at least some of these
symptoms during space flight with impacts on their health,
well-being and effectiveness. In this study the PI (Principal
Investigator) will compare how astronauts sense their own
self-motion (based on visual cues) in earth-normal gravity and
in extended duration micro-g conditions when stationed on the
    ISS.

This Project is intended to define the framework for the
Canadian Space Agency (CSA) to procure the hardware required for
the SeeJitter experiment on-board the International Space
Station (ISS). The selected contractor will develop the concept,
design, manufacture, test and deliver the hardware (Phase A
through D) and will provide operations and maintenance support
(Phase E). The contractor will also provide flight software
testing and verification services. Finally, the contractor may
be asked to provide sustaining engineering in order to support
the use of and/or adapt the hardware to other screen sizes
within specifications in support of science initiatives from CSA
    and/or it's ISS International Partners .
