Technology Concept Studies and Prototyping of Health Technologies for Deep Space Missions - Decision Support Systems

Description
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf of Canadian Space Agency (CSA) located in St-Hubert, (Quebec), is seeking bids to conduct Technology Concept Studies and Prototyping of Health Technologies for Deep Space Missions - Decision Support Systems.
These activities form part of the CSA's effort to define potential opportunities for Canadian participation in future international Human Spaceflight (HSF) missions into deep space.

This requirement includes two phases: 
Phase 1: Technology Concept Study
During Phase 1, a concept study for a technology that addresses the need for deep space healthcare support will be completed.
Phase 2: Prototyping
During Phase 2, a prototype will be developed based on Phase 1 Technology Concept Study. 

Period of Contract
Phase 1: From date of award for up to 7 months;
Phase 2: From the end of Phase 1 for up to 12 months.

Intellectual Property
The Intellectual property will vest with the contractor.

Security Requirements
There are no security requirements associated with this requirement.

Trade agreements
This requirement is not subject to the trade agreements.

The requirement is limited to Canadian goods and/or services.

Controlled Goods Program
This procurement could be subject to the Controlled Goods Program. The Defence production Act defines Canadian Controlled Goods as certain goods listed in Canada’s Export Control List, a regulation made pursuant to the Export and Import Permits Act (EIPA)."
