    Roof Repair project for Sainte Anne des Plaines Prison
    Institution, Québec
    
    This project consists without limitation,  of roof repairs for 3
    buildings (called Blocks) and 2 corridors linking the 3
    buildings of the of the Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines Prison
    Institution (Regional Reception Center).
    
    There will be demolition and removal of existing roof membranes
    and existing insulations, to be all replaced with new materials.
    
    The project will be separated into three phases, of
    approximately 2,890 m2, 1,185 m2 and 2,085 m2 respectively,
    which will allow the buildings to remain operational during the
    re-roofing work.
    
    The total area of re-roofing is approximately 6,160 m2 using a
    torch applied, modified bitumen (2 ply) roofing membrane and
    high performance insulations. 
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
    It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
    Bidder visit the work site.  Arrangements have been made for a
    tour of the work site.  The site visit will be held on June 17,
    2014  at 10:00 am at the following address: Ste-Anne des Plaines
    Institution, Ste-Anne des Plaines, Qc
    
    MANDATORY SPECIAL INSTRUCTION FOR THE OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
    With respect to the visit by the bidders, each person wishing to
    be present on the project site is required to submit to a
    security check with Correctional Services Canada prior to the
    visit, by completing the investigation form CSC-1279.(available
    in the Invitation to tender form) Then, once the form is duly
    completed by each person concerned, the form should be returned
    to the following email address, 341-projets@csc-scc.gc.ca and
    this, at least 72 hours prior to the site visit by the bidder.
    It is to be noted that any inquiry received less than 72 hours
    before the date of the visit will not be processed by the CSC
    and that access to the site for these persons will be denied.
    Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be
    given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded
    from submitting a bid.
    
    
    The estimated cost for this opportunity is between $1,000,000 -
    $5,000,000..
