Nature of Requirements: 

This project consists of (but nis not limited to) the demolition
and reconstruction of the existing electrical trench on the top
of the lock; identifying and dismantling all the conductors and
cables for power supply, control, communication and within the
trench on the perimeter of the lock; the concrete resurfacing of
the superior deck as indicated on the plans; the resurfacing of
the face of th walls and inclined surfaces around the lock with
respect to the type of intervention indicated on the plans,
either a deep or shallow repair; filling the cracks on the
superior deck and on the walls arount the lock; modifying the
steel plate to permit access to the machinery and adding steel
plates on the top of the walls around the lock to prevent bird
nesting.



Site Visit :It is recommended that the Bidder or a
representative of the Bidder visit the work site.  Arrangements
have been made for a tour of the work site.  The site visit will
be held on Sept 10, 2015 at 10:00am, at the main entrance of the
Carillon lock, Carillon, Qc.     Bidders who do not attend or
send a representative will not be given an alternative
appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a
bid.  Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation
resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment
to the bid solicitation.
 

Total  estimate for the contract is between $1,000,000 -
5,000,000$
