Rehabilitation of retaining walls, Saint-Jean sector Chambly, (Quebec)

The works covered by this contract include the rehabilitation of retaining walls (St-Jean sector) located on the left bank (west) of the Chambly Canal and upstream sector-doors inSaint-Jean-sur- Richelieu. A 131.7 m long wall section is to be reconstructed. These works include the work necessary for the implementation of a temporary cofferdam, the dismantling andrelocation of public utilities surrounding the wall area as indicated in the plans, the excavation of the ground at the back of the wall as indicated in the plans, the draining of excavations and water management, the complete demolition of the existingcope wall and the partial demolition of the wooden caisson, the implementation of the new wall and connections with the existing walls sections on both ends of the new section, the backfilling and finally the site restoration.

There will be an optional site visit on September 8, 2016 at 1h00 p.m. Interested biddersare to meet at 130, rue du Quai, St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec.
