Maintenance of mechanical & electrical systems, Dorval, Quebec

Environment and Climate Change Canada is seeking a Contractor able to offer the services of an operational team for the operation and maintenance of the building and minor repairs to it, while maintaining all operational, computer, development, research and administrative activities of the Meteorological Service of Canada (MSC).

The Contractor’s responsibilities related to this service involve the continual supply of qualified labour to operate, maintain, modify and repair (minor repairs as part of preventive maintenance) the building’s mechanical, electrical and architectural systems.

Mandatory site visit

There will be a site visit on September 26, 2019 at 10h00am. Interested bidders are to meet at 2121 North Service Road (TransCanada Highway) in Dorval, Quebec, H9P 1J3.

The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The representative of the Bidder must sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will be rejected.

Bidders are asked to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than two (2) days before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the names of the person(s) who will attend.

Enquiries during the solicitation period
Enquiries regarding this bid must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority named on the Invitation to Tender - Page 1 at e-mail address jessica.cossettefontaine@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca. Enquiries should be received no later than 5 business days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Enquiries received after that time may result in an answer NOT being provided.

The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada. Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference into, and form part of, the tender and contract documents.
