Remediation of Former Gas Station Site
Riding Mountain National Park, MB

Public Service and Procurement Canada (PSPC) formerly known as Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), Environmental Services (ES) has been retained by Parks Canada (PCA) to manage the remediation of a former gas station site in Riding Mountain National Park, Wasagaming, MB.  The work is to be completed in winter while the Park is closed to residents.  The site has a high water table and coarse grained material.  Buildings adjacent to the site and adjacent property will need to be protected.  Contaminated soil is present in the street adjacent and near utilities.

Value of Project:  To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between:  

Category 3 $250,001 >  $ 500,000

All work is to be completed in accordance with specification and in compliance with all relevant codes, guidelines, standards criteria, Acts and regulations.
