For the provision of all materials, equipment, labour, documentation and supervision necessary to perform services for the removal of user-generated hazardous waste as specified herein for the Department of National Defence (DND) including the British Army Training Units (BATUS) at Canadian Forces Base Suffield, Ralston, Alberta.  The period of the Contract is from date of Contract award to 31 March 2017 inclusive with Canada retaining an irrevocable option to extend the Contract for an additional 1 year period.   

There are security requirements associated with this requirement. 

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).

The requirement is limited to Canadian goods and/or services.

Optional Site Visit 

It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements havebeen made for the site visit to be held at CFB Suffield, Building 370 on 7 March 2016. The site visit will begin at 1:00 p.m., in Procurement Conference Room.

Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than 03 March 2016, 2:00 p.m. CST to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) holding a valid security clearance at the required level, who will attend. Bidders who do not confirm attendance and who do not provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attendas required will not be allowed access to the site. Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance sheet. No alternative appointment will be given to bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative. Bidders who do not participate in the visitwill not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
