Transport Canada, in partnership with Statistics Canada under the Joint Transportation Statistics Program (JTSP), have a requirement for the purchase of a subscription to high-quality worldwide airline schedules delivered in a flat file format. The JTSPpartners require information on airline schedules for flights operating in Canada as well as flights operating abroad, provided in a format that is easily importable into an SQL-server type of database.

The requirement consists of the delivery of 12 monthly airline schedule data files and the next 11 months forecast for each month of the period of April 1, 2016 up to and including March 31, 2017. Since several months are already passed, the initial download will include more than 1 month.

For anypotential optional years, the 12 monthly schedule files must reflect the airline schedules for the reference month and the next 11 months. A new, updated file must be sent monthly.

The file must be provided either by mail (CD or DVD), email (if smaller than 10Mb), its own FTP site, or via Transport Canada’s FTP site at a location provided by the Project Authority.

The solicitation is intended to result in the award of 1 (one) contract for 1 (one) year, and up to 4 (four) irrevocable option years allowing Canada to extend the term of the Contract.
