This Letter of Interest (LOI) does not constitute a commitment
by the Government of Canada. The Government of Canada does not
intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or
otherwise pay for the information solicited.
This Request for Information (RFI)document was prepared to
support theearly engagement activities outlined in the Letter of
Interest (LOI). The RFI provides details of the overall planned
direction for office furniture consolidated procurement
instruments as well as the more specific plans for the Work
Spaces Consolidated Procurement Instrument. Theplanned direction
isthe result of a collaborative effort between the Acquisitions
Branch (AB), theProcurement Authority (PA), and the Real
Property Branch (RPB), theConsolidated Procurement Instrument
Technical Authority (TA). Itisdesigned tocreate a flexible
andefficient process for government departments, agencies and
crown corporations (Government Departments) and suppliers while,
aligning with the National Goods and Services Procurement
Strategy (NGSPS),the Government of Canada Workplace 2.0 Fit up
Standards(WP2.0)initiative andproviding best value to Canada.
Participation is not a mandatory requirement. For example,
choosing not to attend any of theEarly Engagement Sessions will
not preclude an interested participant from submitting an
arrangementfor the RFSA or any other procurement.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
