Nature of Requirements: 
Requirement : The Department of National Defence has a
requirement for commercial off-the-shelf body-worn hands-free
operation swimmer propulsion system. They will be used  to
support training and operations in the Maritime environment .
The systems  will be in accordance with CANSOFCOM's performance
and technical specifications.

Firm quantity:
This requirement is for a firm quantity of forty (40) swimmer
propulsion systems to be delivered within 200 km from the
National Capital Region.

Option:- Quantity estimated :
This requirement also includes one (1) option to purchase a
quantity maximum of eighty (80) systems and manuals. Multiple
contract amendments can be done. This option may be exercised
during a period of 24 months from contract award.

"As and when requested" Spare parts:
The supplier will supply spare parts ordered on an "as and when
requested" basis during a period of 36 months from the contract
award date with a possibility to extend for an extra two (2) one
year period. 

Delivery requested: Delivery of the firm quantity is requested
complete by 31 October 2014.

Enquiries 
To ensure a response before bid closing date, all enquiries
about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received
by the Contracting Authority at least seven (7) calendar days
prior to the bid closing date.
